El movimiento tel\u00farico tambi\u00e9n fue percibido en diversas zonas de Puerto Rico, generando alerta entre la poblaci\u00f3n.<br><br>De acuerdo con informaci\u00f3n del Servicio Geol\u00f3gico de Estados Unidos (USGS), el epicentro del sismo se localiz\u00f3 a 38 kil\u00f3metros al sureste de Boca de Yuma, en la provincia La Altagracia, uno de los puntos tur\u00edsticos m\u00e1s visitados del pa\u00eds. El temblor ocurri\u00f3 a una profundidad de 168 kil\u00f3metros, lo que contribuy\u00f3 a que, aunque ampliamente sentido, no provocara afectaciones graves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) de Rep\u00fablica Dominicana emiti\u00f3 un comunicado informando que se mantiene en vigilancia, pero descart\u00f3 da\u00f1os estructurales o interrupciones en servicios esenciales.
